The Tree Shop GardenCentre & Café

The Tree Shop Garden Centre & Café sits at the head of Loch Fyne on the A83, eight miles before Inveraray, on land belonging to Ardkinglas Estate. Ardkinglas Estate Nurseries Ltd opened the business in the spring of 1990, and David Sumsion, nephew of Johnny Noble who ran the estate from 1972 to 2002, has overseen it since. The garden centre sells trees, shrubs and plants raised in the estate's own nursery alongside gifts and outdoor wear. The café, run separately from the retail floor, serves soup, sandwiches and home baking, with both indoor tables and an outdoor terrace looking over the loch. Ardkinglas Woodland Garden and the site's oyster and seafood deli lie a short walk away along the same shoreline.
