Fyne Malts of Inveraray is a whisky specialist run by local couple Andy and Carol Burns from a single unit on Main Street East. The shop stocks single malts from Highland, Lowland, Speyside and Campbeltown distilleries, with a particular focus on bottlings from distilleries that have since closed, alongside its own-label Fyne Gins. Andy and Carol describe the business as run on old-fashioned lines, with staff who know the stock well enough to steer customers away from mainstream names toward less common bottles. The shop has traded in the whisky business for around twenty years and takes mail orders from across the UK, with international shipping available on request for collectors unable to visit in person. Unlike some whisky retailers on the high street, Fyne Malts is not tied to a single distillery or drinks group and buys its stock independently. It remains a single-shop operation with no other premises beyond Inveraray.
