The shop sits in the centre of Ledbury, a market town on the edge of the Malvern Hills known for its poetry festival, and positions itself as a browsing shop for readers rather than an online-first retailer, with staff able to order in specific titles. Alongside new fiction, non-fiction and children's books, the shop carries maps, stationery and locally themed titles about Herefordshire. It is one of the town's independent bookshops. Opening hours run six days a week, Monday to Saturday, with the shop closed on Sundays.
