Aapke Meizban,Balsall Heath

Aapke Meizban opened on Ladypool Road in 2020, becoming one of the first restaurants in Birmingham to serve Pakistani breakfast finished on a tawa griddle at the table. The menu runs from nashta-style breakfasts through to karahis, biryani and grilled meats, alongside desi-style mocktails and bubble tea. The restaurant sits within the Ladypool Road balti and curry district of Balsall Heath and Sparkbrook, long known for South Asian cooking, but has built its following specifically around its breakfast service rather than evening curry alone. It operates from a single site at 154 Ladypool Road under Aapke Meizban Ltd, incorporated in September 2020, and continues to be run by its founding team, with the tawa breakfast now central to its identity on the street.
