CHUNK Bakery

CHUNK Bakery began in 2020 when Amy Bennett and Diego Espinoza started baking vegan cookies from a shared house in Hyde Park and delivering them by hand to students across Leeds. A first shop opened on Burley Road in December 2023, and the business relocated to a larger site on Kirkstall Hill in July 2024. All cookies, buns and cakes are vegan and baked fresh on the premises each morning, with sourdough loaves delivered in at weekends and specialty coffee from Leeds roasters served alongside. The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating and stays open Tuesday to Sunday. It remains a single independent bakery, having grown from a home kitchen rather than opening additional branches.
