The Swine Bistro opened on Otley Road in April 2025, run by husband and wife Stuart and Jo Myers with head chef Kirsty Cheetham, formerly of the Queen o' t' Owd Thatch. The pair previously ran The Swine That Dines from a cramped North Street unit that began life as The Greedy Pig sandwich shop, and funded the Headingley move with a £42,000 crowdfund backed by 486 supporters. The forty-cover dining room keeps stone floors, low beams and an open kitchen, where whole-animal butchery underpins a produce-led menu leaning on classic British and European technique with occasional Mediterranean detours. A weekday set lunch runs to two courses for £20 or three for £24, while small plates sit around £9 to £11 and mains reach the mid-twenties. Sunday brings a set roast, and the wine list favours smaller, natural producers.
