City Bloc

City Bloc opened in 2009 as Leeds' first dedicated bouldering wall, set inside Airedale Works, a former Victorian train foundry on the South Bank. The walls range from slab to steep overhang, and there is a separate training area with fingerboards, a campus board and a kilter board for regular climbers. It remains independently owned and run rather than part of a wider gym chain.
