Dark Circles

Dark Circles is a record shop and coffee bar run by Adam and Kim inside Marine Court, the Art Deco block on the seafront at St Leonards-on-Sea. The shop stocks new and secondhand vinyl across genres rather than specialising in one style, with a listening deck where customers can play records before buying. A coffee counter serves espresso drinks and cold drinks alongside the crates, and the shop doubles as a place to browse rather than make a quick transaction. It sits within Marine Court's small run of independent shops and cafes, a short walk along the seafront from Hastings, and has built a following through Record Store Day participation and word of mouth on social media rather than heavy promotion. The shop is a newer addition to the area's small cluster of record retailers, distinct from the longer-established shops nearer Hastings town centre.
