By day the shop operates as a bottle shop with a cheese cave and deli counter, selling bottles the pair source directly with a focus on small growers and lesser-known regions, including Italian wines outside the mainstream. By evening it becomes a wine bar, with tastings, quiz nights and live music, and a corkage charge of ten pounds on bottles bought from the shelves to drink in. Food runs to cheese and charcuterie boards, pates and a rotating hot special. The business holds a five-star food hygiene rating and built a strong local following within its first year of trading, reflected in a five-star Google rating from dozens of reviews. It sits among a growing cluster of independent food and drink openings on George Street.
