Fib Whisky is an independent whisky bottler working out of a small bonded warehouse at Carberry Place in Kirkcaldy. Brothers Iain and Andrew Mundy run the business, which started in 2017 as Kilrymont Distilling before being renamed Fib in 2021; the first bottlings under the Fib name were released in October 2022. The company buys individual casks from distilleries across Scotland and beyond, then handles cask selection, bottling and labelling itself rather than outsourcing any part of the process. Releases are single cask and small-batch blended whiskies bottled without colouring or chill-filtration, so each release varies in strength and character. Fib also takes on private commissions, bottling a customer's own cask in any quantity from a single bottle upward. The name honours the late Aedan Burt, Iain's friend and the company's co-founder. Warehouse visits and tastings can be booked directly, and stock is sold online and through a small number of independent retailers.
