Forest Distillery

Lindsay, Hattie and Karl Bond began distilling spirits from their home in 2014 before moving production to a dedicated site beside the Cat and Fiddle on the edge of Macclesfield Forest, one of the highest points in Cheshire. Forest Gin is distilled in batches of around 85 bottles at a time, using water drawn from the distillery's own spring, alongside cask-aged whisky and a small rum range. A Whisky Club gives members access to private cask blends not sold elsewhere. Tours run on site, finishing at the bar inside the neighbouring Cat and Fiddle, one of the highest licensed pubs in England.
