Isle ofPurbeck Brewery

Isle of Purbeck Brewery was founded in 2003 by Jack and Pippa Lightbown alongside the Bankes Arms, a coaching inn on Manor Road in Studland that Jack's family had run for decades. The brewery produces five core cask and bottled ales, including its flagship Fossil Fuel, plus seasonal beers and a cider, using English hops, barley and malt where possible. Beer is sold through an on-site shop, supplied to the adjoining pub and distributed to stockists elsewhere in the country.
