Janet Bell Gallery& Lifestyle Store

Janet Bell opened her first gallery in a converted chapel in Beaumaris in November 2007, days after moving from a village outside Chester with her husband Sean. The business moved twice more, into a former bank on Castle Street and then, in 2018, into its current premises on Church Street. Bell still chooses everything on the shelves herself, mixing her own paintings and prints with Scandinavian-influenced homewares, candles, jewellery, textiles and books from makers she and Sean rate personally. A second, smaller shop opened in Rhosneigr in May 2023. The Church Street gallery keeps shorter hours on Sundays than through the rest of the week and welcomes dogs.
