Leigh onSea Brewery

Leigh on Sea Brewery was founded by Ian Rydings and Mark Springham, who settled on the idea over a pub crawl through Old Leigh in December 2016. After completing a microbrewery course and raising investment from friends and family, the pair began brewing on Progress Road in August 2017, working with a small starter kit while full equipment was fitted. The brewery tap room opened that December and has hosted tastings, music nights and small beer festivals ever since. The business has won four SIBA Regional Gold prizes for its keg beers. The taproom now shares its space with a food trailer run by Legra Tap & Kitchen, a partner pub in the town. Cask and keg beers are sold directly from the Progress Road site as well as supplied to pubs across Essex and beyond.
