Meyer & Mortimer traces its lineage to a tailoring and military outfitting business founded by Jonathan Meyer in the 1790s near Savile Row. After bomb damage in the Blitz destroyed its original Conduit Street premises, the firm relocated and today operates a small appointment-based showroom on Duke of York Street, cutting bespoke suits and military uniforms by hand.
