Pelican Inn,Newcastle Emlyn

The Pelican Inn sits on Sycamore Street in the centre of Newcastle Emlyn, a traditional free house known locally as Tafarn Y Pelican. The pub keeps its original fittings and an open fire in the front bar, with a quieter lounge area and a larger room at the rear fitted with a pool table and darts. Draught Bass is the regular cask ale, alongside rotating guest beers from breweries including Bluestone, Mantle and Wye Valley. An enclosed garden provides outdoor seating in summer. The pub has been recognised as an Asset of Community Value. It opens from 2pm Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays, staying open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
