Helen Elliott works from a combined studio and gallery at Penbanc in Adpar, just across the river from Newcastle Emlyn. Her paintings draw on naive art, the Fauvist movement and the Scottish Colourists, built up over some twenty-five years of West Wales and Pembrokeshire landscapes. Visitors are welcome by appointment, with advance notice requested so she can show them round properly; the postcode leads to the lane below the house, and she recommends a what3words reference for the final approach. Alongside original paintings she sells prints, sketches, commissions, cards and calendars, and takes on wedding art commissions. Her work has been shown in a solo exhibition at Oriel y Parc in St Davids and in group shows at Oriel Cardi Bach in Cardigan. The studio closes for January each year and otherwise operates Tuesday to Saturday.
