Sam's Cafe

Sam's Cafe is a corner café on Chalcot Road in Primrose Hill, founded by the actor and filmmaker Sam Frears with the writer Andrew O'Hagan and Lindsey Milligan — deliberately an unfussy, all-comers sort of place rather than another expensive Primrose Hill address. It does café classics done well, morning to night, and has become a genuine community room in a neighbourhood that can want for one. An owner-run café with a warm, democratic spirit. Go for breakfast, or a plate of something plain and good in the evening.
