Sandhams Wine Merchants has traded from 3 South Street, a step from Caistor's market place, since 1976. The family-run merchant stocks wines from across the world alongside draught and bottled beers, ciders, spirits and liqueurs, and makes up hampers and gift packs to order. For close to fifty years it has also supplied the trade, serving hotels, bars and restaurants across the county as well as passing shoppers and local regulars. Staff give hands-on recommendations across the range, from everyday bottles to gifting and corporate orders, and can source particular wines and spirits on request. The shop keeps long hours for an independent, opening Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 7.30pm and closing on Sundays. It remains one of the longer-established independent drinks retailers in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
