Our Big Picture occupies a Grade II-listed Georgian building on Bethlehem Street dating from 1781, brought back into public use as an arts and heritage charity by co-founders Paula Denton and Karen Watson. The galleries host changing exhibitions alongside talks, workshops and family activities, with particular attention to projects rooted in the town's own history. Friends, Foes and Good Companions gathered oral histories and photographs from women connected to Grimsby's fishing industry, while the Women's Photography Collective supports emerging local photographers with studio access. Meeting rooms and studio space are available for hire alongside the exhibition programme. The building itself, among the oldest surviving retail premises in the town, stood empty for years before the charity took it on and began the restoration.
