The Rabbit Hole Independent Bookshop occupies space inside a Georgian building on Bethlehem Street in central Grimsby, a short walk from the railway station and opposite the Minster. Nick and Mel Webb, both former teachers, ran the shop in Brigg for nine years before relocating the business to Grimsby into premises inside the historic building, which dates to 1781 and was restored by the arts and heritage charity Our Big Picture. The shop stocks a hand-picked selection of fiction and non-fiction, takes special orders for titles not on the shelves, and sells audiobooks through Libro FM alongside physical stock. It is one of the few dedicated bookshops trading in the town centre following the closure of the national chain branches that once stood there. Three bus stops sit directly outside, and passengers waiting for connections make up part of the shop's passing trade. It opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
