The Good FoodCafe & Deli

The Good Food Cafe & Deli sits on Broad Street in Lyme Regis, run by Mark and Marie Sainsbury, who took over the business in June 2021. Bread, pasties, sausage rolls and cakes are made in house each morning, alongside baguettes, quiches and soups served through the day for eating in or taking away. A deli counter at the back of the shop sells cheeses, charcuterie and olives cured locally, together with homemade coleslaw, hummus and salads sold by weight. Gluten-free and vegan options run alongside the standard menu rather than as an afterthought, and cream teas are served through the afternoon. The café allows dogs inside, and its position on Lyme's main shopping street makes it a stop for both locals doing a weekly shop and visitors walking up from the Cobb.
