The Kino is an independently run three-screen cinema on Church Street in Glenrothes, reopened in 2010 by local owner Graeme Reekie after the building had stood empty since 1998. It shows new releases and family films alongside occasional classics, and is run day to day by Glenrothes locals rather than a national chain.
