The Weem Gallery& Framer

The Weem Gallery & Framer opened on Pittenweem's High Street in August 2016, during the village's Arts Festival, and has kept a changing roster of exhibitions since. Artists shown include Michael Ewart, John Davie, Jan Fisher, Robert Pereira Hind, Gwen Adair, Christine Weekes and Alice Newman, with landscape and seascape work dominating the walls alongside ceramics, glass and sculpture. Original paintings are priced individually, running from roughly £275 to £975, rather than set by any head office. The gallery also runs a custom framing service, drawing on the same East Neuk coastline that shows up in much of the work on its walls. It keeps to a Monday-to-Saturday day, 10am to 5pm, and stays closed on Sundays.
