The Truffle Pig is a family-run cafe and deli at 124 High Street in Hythe, opposite the town's WHSmith and butcher, run by owners Clare and Russell. The kitchen is open-plan, and a walled courtyard behind the shop provides outdoor seating for breakfast, brunch and lunch service built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Once a month the cafe closes early for a five-course tasting evening on a Friday night, pairing dishes with wines from Kent vineyards, and the business also caters private events and weddings on its usual closed days. A converted horsebox, used as a food stall at festive markets, extends the operation beyond the shop itself. Regular opening hours run Thursday and Friday, 9am to 4pm, and Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with the cafe closed Sunday to Wednesday. It operates as a single, independently owned premises rather than part of a restaurant group.
