Urban Potters

Urban Potters opened its Camberwell studio in June 2022, just off Camberwell Green, under potter Adrian Gonzalez, who has thrown pots since he was nine years old. The open-access studio runs wheel-throwing courses over six and eleven weeks, drop-in sessions and private events, alongside a membership scheme for potters who already know their way around a kiln. Classes admit complete beginners as well as children aged seven and up, with no prior experience required for most sessions. A second Urban Potters studio operates in Oval, a short bus ride away. The Camberwell space opens into the evening most weekdays, closing latest on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm, and earlier at weekends.
