Wanstead Hotel occupies a converted building on Lonsdale Road, a short walk from Wanstead underground station, and has been owned by the Sanghera family since the company was incorporated in 2019. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate, and the hotel offers on-site parking, including accessible spaces, which is unusual for a small independent hotel this close to central London. Guests reach Central London within half an hour via the Central line, making it a base for visitors as much as for contractors working locally. Housekeeping is provided daily. The hotel operates independently of any national budget chain, run instead as a single family-owned property serving the Wanstead and Leytonstone area.
