Weigh ofthe World

Weigh of the World opened on Witton Street in Northwich at the end of November 2019, set up within three months by local resident Kirsty Wernham. Customers bring their own containers to refill food staples, cleaning products and toiletries, buying only the quantity they need and cutting down on packaging waste. Demand saw the business expand into the shop next door by May 2021, taking on staff to widen its range while remaining at the same Witton Street address. Weigh of the World continues to trade from this single Northwich premises, with no branches elsewhere, as one of the area's earliest dedicated zero-waste shops.
