Marbury Hall Nurseries is based at The Old Walled Gardens in Marbury, between the villages of Comberbach and Anderton, a few minutes from Northwich. The family-run nursery has been growing and selling plants for generations, and stocks an unusually wide range for its size: shrubs, trees, herbaceous perennials, bamboo, hardy palms, tree ferns, climbers, alpines, seasonal bedding and house and conservatory plants. Staff describe themselves as nurserymen and market gardeners rather than general retailers, and the Victorian-era walled garden setting gives the site a more traditional feel than a typical garden centre. Marbury also carries less common and exotic specimens alongside everyday garden stock. The nursery is open seven days a week, with reduced hours on Sundays and bank holidays.
