Alexander Scott & Son has traded from the same premises on Maghera's Main Street since the early 1900s, now run by a later generation of the same family. The shop deals in hardware, tools, agricultural supplies and household goods, the kind of general ironmonger's stock that has largely disappeared from small Mid Ulster towns.
