Anne ofCleves' House

A timber-framed medieval house on Southover High Street, Lewes, dating from the 15th century. It was given to Anne of Cleves at the end of her marriage to Henry VIII, though she never lived there. Interiors include a Tudor kitchen, a parlour and a bedroom with four-poster bed, alongside dressing-up clothes and a collection of historic domestic artefacts. The garden follows a Tudor planting scheme. The café is run by Patisserie Lewes.
