Bahill Glass is the stained glass workshop of Carol Deadman, based at Wester Newbigging near Huntly. She makes new leaded and stained glass panels to commission and restores older work, including Tiffany-style lampshades and glass or lead panels from cabinet doors, which clients can bring to the workshop by appointment. Deadman also runs occasional courses in stained glass and lead panel making, and takes part each year in North East Open Studios, when the public can visit working craft spaces across the region. The workshop produces both traditional leaded designs and more contemporary glass pieces, built to order rather than sold as stock. It operates from this one rural workshop rather than a shop premises, with commissions arranged directly by phone or email rather than through a retail outlet.
