Battlefield Rest

Battlefield Rest occupies a distinctive 1915 tram passenger shelter, its clock tower and green-and-cream tiled facade preserved when Marco Giannasi converted the building into an Italian restaurant in 1994. The kitchen serves pasta, risotto and grilled dishes in a compact dining room that keeps much of the original tramway ironwork and layout intact.
