Craigie's Farm Shop and Cafe operates from West Craigie Farm on the western edge of South Queensferry, run by John and Kirsteen Sinclair, who took over the family holding from John's parents in 1995. The shop began in 1988 as a single table set up in a converted barn; the cafe was added in 2007 and now serves breakfast, lunch and cakes from an in-house bakery until half past four each afternoon. Produce sold in the shop comes largely from the surrounding fields, including soft fruit grown for pick-your-own visits each summer, alongside jams made in the farm kitchen. A farm park with animals and outdoor play areas sits next to the shop and cafe, drawing visitors from Edinburgh and West Lothian to see a working farm at close range.
