Glencoe VillaGuest House

Glencoe Villa Guest House occupies a renovated Victorian villa on Ackworth Road in Purston Jaglin, on the edge of Featherstone between Pontefract and Wakefield. Owner Ewa Hunt opened the guest house in 2019, and within five months it placed second on Channel 4's 4 in a Bed. The property has three en-suite double rooms, one with a bath, each with a flat-screen television, complimentary tea and coffee and free WiFi, plus off-road parking for guests arriving by car. Breakfast is cooked to order using local and organic ingredients where possible, served in a dining room within the house rather than a separate restaurant. Glencoe Villa is run directly by its owner rather than managed remotely, and operates as a single guest house rather than part of a wider group.
