The YorkshireGallery

The Yorkshire Gallery occupies Unit 26 of the Piece Hall's colonnade in Halifax, showing paintings, ceramics, glass, jewellery and mixed media made exclusively by artists and makers with a Yorkshire connection. The family-run gallery opened in August 2017, shortly after the Piece Hall reopened following a conservation programme, and rotates its stock through changing exhibitions rather than a fixed shopfront display. Both recent graduates and established names are given wall space. The gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, inside the Georgian courtyard building dating to 1779.
