Hambrooks Garden Centre has traded from the same site on Southampton Road in Titchfield since 1970, run today by managing director Norman Hambrook. The centre's landscaped demonstration gardens show plants in mature settings rather than on trolleys alone, and an Artisan Corner sets aside space for local suppliers and craft workshops alongside the plant houses. The adjoining Garden Coffee Shop opens daily from ten until three, serving homemade cake, hot drinks and ice cream to visitors resting between the aisles. Hambrooks' associated landscaping arm has built show gardens at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, including a Silver Gilt medal winner, and two of its gardens have featured on Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Garden. The centre also stocks bespoke teak furniture and a gift department, and remains dog-friendly throughout, with a click-and-collect service for online plant orders.
