Holt Vinyl Vault operates from inside a working post office on Cromer Road, a combination owner Andrew Worsdale set up in 2010 when he began stocking new and second-hand vinyl alongside the counter's postal services. The unusual pairing drew attention beyond Norfolk after coverage in Record Collector and The Guardian, and the shop featured in Tim Burgess's book Vinyl Adventures from Istanbul to San Francisco, bringing customers from across the country to what is, in effect, a record shop built into a post office. Stock runs from new releases to second-hand LPs and singles across genres, with Worsdale on hand to talk through requests and special orders. The shop remains a working post office first, with record browsing built around counter hours.
