Live music venue and club on Holmeside in Sunderland city centre, trading since 2006 and now the longest continuously running nightclub on Wearside. It opened across the road from its current building, moving into the former Van Mildert store in 2013 when the original site faced demolition. Acts to have played its stage include Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, The Maccabees, Klaxons and The Zutons, alongside DJ sets from Andrew Weatherall and Mike Skinner, and it hosted the first-ever gig by Sunderland band Frankie & the Heartstrings. Beyond touring acts and club nights, the venue runs community programmes with Sunderland College, the Young Musicians Project and the Northern Academy of Music Education, offering technical sessions and guest-list access so students can experience live music firsthand. It marked its 18th year in 2024 with a fundraising gig.
