Le Petit Citron occupies 98-100 Shepherds Bush Road in Brook Green, where owners Lawrence and Emily Hartley converted their previous restaurant, Mustard, into a Provençal bistro in November 2018. Lawrence trained at Westminster Catering College and opened his first restaurant, Brula in St Margarets, in 1999, before he and Emily opened La Buvette in Richmond in 2003. The menu draws on Provençal cooking, with dishes such as soupe de poissons and confit duck served among bentwood chairs and gingham tablecloths. A house dessert, a lemon posset named after the restaurant, closes most meals. The wine list runs entirely on French bottles, and cocktails follow the same southern French theme. The dining room serves lunch and dinner six days a week, with a shorter lunch-only sitting on Sundays for those visiting Brook Green.
