The LostPoet

Quinton and Alex Tredez of Cubic Studios, a Notting Hill design practice, converted an 1850s townhouse at the top of Portobello Road into their first hospitality project, opening The Lost Poet in June 2021. Each of the four bedrooms carries its own colour, from yellow to blue, and the top-floor blue room has a stand-alone bathtub and a south-facing terrace over the rooftops. Antique furniture came from The French House, set against reclaimed wood panelling salvaged from an old school science lab. Guests get keyless self check-in and a concierge line, with breakfast included and no fixed reception desk.
