Linda Jones teaches wire jewellery making from her studio in Hildenborough, near Tonbridge, working in a technique she has practised and taught for decades since training as a jeweller in London. She is the author of nine instructional books on wire and hammered wire jewellery, including 'Hammered Wire Jewellery', and designed the Whammer, a specialist wire-flattening hammer now manufactured and sold worldwide by the American jewellery-supply company Beadsmith. Her workshops cover a range of wire jewellery techniques, run as day and half-day sessions for individuals, couples and small groups at various skill levels. Students leave each session having completed a finished piece, typically a ring, bangle or pair of earrings. Workshops are booked in advance directly with Linda by phone or email.
