ArtSpring Gallery

ArtSpring Gallery occupies a High Street shopfront in Tonbridge and operates as a cooperative run by ten core members, including Anne McArdle, Antonia Enthoven, Claire Longley, Gillian Smith, Hilary Shields, Jane Bridger, Jayne Coulson, Katie Whitbread, Marie Pearson and Paul Chave, alongside associate and guest artists on rotation. The gallery shows paintings, printmaking, photography, ceramics, glass and jewellery, all made by artists based in Kent. One of the cooperative's members staffs the gallery in person each day it is open, so visitors can usually speak to the maker of the work on display. Exhibitions change through the year to give each member wall space, and pieces can be bought directly from the gallery or through its website with UK-wide delivery. Open Wednesday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm.
