Northgate Museum sits above the medieval Northgate at the top of Bridgnorth's High Street and is run entirely by volunteers, having been the first independent museum in Shropshire to gain Museums, Libraries and Archives Council accreditation. The collection of more than 5,000 objects spans an Edwardian cash till, a 17th-century turret clock and local archaeological finds. Entry is free, with donations welcomed to cover running costs.
