Ormus

Ormus trades from a former butcher's shop at 33 High Street in Aberdour, registered as Ormus Ltd, company number SC742431. The gallery stocks limited edition prints, original paintings, ceramics, textiles, lighting and other homeware from a rotating group of British artists and makers, alongside greetings cards and books. Exhibitions and artist open evenings run through the year, and the gallery also works on a consultancy basis with aspiring independent designers and makers building their own retail ranges. The shop keeps something of the proportions of its previous life as a butcher's premises, with the old counter area now given over to smaller pieces and jewellery. Dogs are welcome inside. An online shop serves customers outside easy reach of the Fife coast. The gallery is active on Facebook as Ormus Art Gallery for current stock and event listings. It opens Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, and is closed the rest of the week.
