Spin Pottery occupies a unit in the Hidden Lane, the cluster of converted stables and workshops off Argyle Street in Finnieston, run by studio owner Leah with a small team of instructors. The studio is split across two levels: a ground-floor workshop with wheels and hand-building space, and an upper mezzanine used for glazing and private bookings. Sessions cover wheel-throwing tasters and courses, hand-building workshops and pottery painting, with bring-your-own-drink sessions a regular fixture alongside quieter weekday classes. Pieces made in taster sessions are fired and ready for collection later, while longer courses let beginners work up to finished, glazed pots over several weeks. The studio also does pet paw-print keepsakes, a sideline that has become one of its more popular bookings. It works as both a teaching studio and a retail counter selling finished ceramics.
