Staggeringly Good is a brewery and taproom on the St George's industrial estate off Rodney Road, close to Fratton Park football ground in Portsmouth. Founded in 2015 by Joe Ross and Jon Chapman, it began as a small-batch operation and has grown into a twenty-barrel brewhouse producing hopped pale ales, IPAs and sour beers alongside a rotating cast of specials. The taproom occupies the brewery building itself, with two bar areas and an upstairs seating space, and pours its own beers alongside wines, cider, spirits and coffee. Food comes from resident traders, including Bear Bones BBQ, served through the taproom's opening hours from Thursday to Sunday. The venue hosts DJ sets, live music and beer festivals through the year, and gets busy on Portsmouth FC matchdays given its location a short walk from the ground. It operates as a single-site independent brewery rather than as part of a multi-taproom group.
