Portcullis Taphouse

Portcullis Taphouse is a micropub on West Street in Portchester, opened in December 2021 in a small parade unit near the castle. It serves two rotating cask ales, up to ten keg craft beers and several ciders, all listed on a screen behind the bar. An on-site nanobrewery, built into a shipping container behind the building, supplies occasional house beers alongside guest lines from other small brewers. There is no kitchen; customers are welcome to bring in food from nearby takeaways.
