The Falstaff

Freehouse known locally as the Folly, built in 1886 as a hotel and trading as an independent pub since 1995 after it was sold by Allied Breweries. A 10-barrel brewery installed on site produces a regular range of cask beers plus monthly specials, run by licensees Jim Hallows and Steph Briggs since 2003. The interior holds decades of collected beer memorabilia, and the pub has featured in successive CAMRA Good Beer Guides.
