Edward and Rose Cowap began selling vegetables from a roadside stand with an honesty box outside their home in Little Budworth in 1959, a plot that has grown into a full working farm shop. Three generations on, Phil and Ed Cowap run the site, which now includes a butchery, delicatessen, fresh fish counter, greenhouse and The Barn gift department, alongside forest lodges for overnight stays. A second shop on Tarporley High Street and a third near Lower Stretton add a café and further deli counters. Second Son Cheshire Gin sits among the shelves of local drink. The original Little Budworth site opens from 8.30am to 7pm on weekdays, later than most farm shops in the area.
